Camp at the foothills of the majestic Catskill mountains. Layland Catskills is a modern RV park and scenic campground covering more than 60 lush acres dotted with ponds, scenic walkways, and hiking trails. Conveniently accessed from the I-87 and just fifteen minutes from the Hudson train station, our site is a short drive to the historic villages of Hudson, Catskill, and Athens. Open year round!

Deluxe Rentals

From park models to airstreams to tiny homes, we offer a range of RV rentals and unique accommodation types. Our units come with a queen bed, sitting area, full kitchenette with a stovetop and mini fridge, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, climate control and high speed internet. Dine at the picnic table or hang by the fire in our cozy chairs.

Tent Sites

Camp out the old fashioned way but with Layland Camp Catskills amenities. Dine at the picnic table or hang by the fire. Choose a primitive or deluxe site that includes water and electric. All sites enjoy free basic WiFi.

Enjoy our brand new Laundromat! Credit Card operated.

Dog Friendly

Dogs are always welcome for no additional charge. Your fur babies will love our Dog Park where they can run free and play in our fenced in park created just for them.

Nature Trail

Our property is full of forest trails adjacent to stunning conservation land. Check with the front desk for guidance on the best trails on-site.

Playground

Located next to the main Lodge. Our playground offers pint-sized adventure.

Wifi

We have free basic WiFi throughout the campground. You can purchase WiFi upgrades that include increased bandwidth for streaming and video meetings.

Weekly Activities

Crackling campfires, enjoy a competitive game of cornhole or horseshoes, or a refreshing dip in our pool at sunset.

We recommend that you DO NOT follow standard GPS directions from Google or MapQuest as they will send you through an underpass with a max height of 12’7″. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND you follow the directions below, instead,

Traveling from the north:

  • NYS Thruway- Exit 21B
  • Turn left exiting NYS thruway in West Coxsackie, NY 12192
  • Head southwest on Rte. 9W S for 7.4 mi
  • Turn right onto Schoharie Turnpike for 1.2 mi (standard GPS will ask you to turn on county route. 49 sooner)
  • Destination will be on the right.

Traveling from the south:

  • NYS Thruway- Exit 21
  • Turn LEFT exiting NYS Thruway in Catskill, NY 12414 for 0.6 mi (standard GPS will wrongly send you to the right from exit road)
  • Turn left onto the ramp towards NY-23E Hudson for 0.2 mi
    Merge onto NY-23 E
  • Turn left to merge onto US-9W N/Rte. 9W N toward Albany for 4.5 mi
  • Turn left onto Schoharie Turnpike for 1.2 mi
  • Destination will be on the right.
